12 Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.

What is Reverence?

Reverence means deep respect for someone or something. And it also means regard or treat with deep respect.

What do the Bible means about fear?

Fear means an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. It also means be afraid of (someone or something) as likely to be dangerous, painful, or threatening.
